The AAC brings education and academic perspectives into structured dialogue about Calibre, its relationship with Capability and Competency, the conditions under which Integrous Agency can be developed or evidenced, and the implications for employability, professional formation and lifelong development.
Participation: Participation is by invitation or nomination accepted by IOWL and is based on relevance to the particular dialogue. AAC participation is not IAC membership and does not give the academic sector custodianship or definitional authority over Calibre.
It does not govern IOWL, define Calibre independently of IOWL, control curriculum or assessment, award Calibre Credits, accredit IOWL, create joint ownership of IOWL intellectual property, or authorise participants to speak for IOWL.
The AAC is an established part of IOWL's international advisory and forum architecture.

Universities, colleges, educators, researchers, programme leaders, student-development specialists, tertiary-education bodies and other invited academic or educational contributors.
Views, dialogue and outputs are advisory or deliberative. IOWL retains executive, standards, curriculum, recognition, awarding and intellectual-property authority.
The Academic Advisory Convening (AAC) is an established IOWL convening mechanism. It is not a statutory, executive or governing body and participation does not of itself establish a partnership, accreditation or endorsement relationship.
The AAC examines how education can recognise and interact with Calibre without reducing it to a graduate attribute, character module, ethics course or additional competency. It can consider research, curriculum interfaces, student development, employability and recognition while preserving the distinction between academic Capability, practical Competency and Calibre.
Participation is by invitation or nomination accepted by IOWL and is based on relevance to the particular dialogue. AAC participation is not IAC membership and does not give the academic sector custodianship or definitional authority over Calibre. Participation may be personal or, where expressly agreed, on behalf of an organisation. Organisational participation is limited to the particular convening or relationship described and does not imply a wider institutional endorsement.
The AAC is convened according to relevance and need. IOWL determines the agenda, format, participation and whether a discussion or output is public, attributable, non-attributable or confidential.
IOWL may publish summaries, dialogue papers, observations or other outputs where appropriate. Unless expressly agreed in writing, participation does not make every participant a co-author and does not imply endorsement of the final IOWL position.
Participants must respect confidentiality markings and restrictions. Access to IOWL material does not grant rights to reproduce, adapt, commercialise, license or create derivative competing frameworks. Specific collaborative outputs may be governed by separate written terms.
Participants are expected to engage constructively and disclose material conflicts relevant to the matter under discussion. IOWL may limit or end participation where necessary to protect the integrity of the convening, its mission, confidentiality or intellectual property.
Participation does not authorise a person or organisation to speak for IOWL, commit IOWL, confer recognition, award Calibre Credits or represent a forum discussion as IOWL policy unless expressly authorised.
